EVs are more than one-third of the US luxury vehicle market… But 2% on non-luxury

EV market share in the USA? Over 30% in the premium segment, but only 2% in the mass market. And, as in Europe, the premium segment accounts for just 20% of the market. The bottom line?
More than ever, if we are to make a success of the energy transition in transport, EVs need to conquer the mass market in every country and every region. Rich people in rich countries are not enough.
A modular, shared battery will be essential for this… unless we give up on 2035!
